The read me file says

"• Allow Player Editor At All Times:
Toggle on and you can edit the Player values for the roster, even in situations where this is normally locked. Likely, this has no effect on online human vs. human games. If the game crashes when doing this in FRANCHISE mode, then try this. When entering FRANCHISE MODE and editing players, for the TOP PLAYER, go to each category and decrease the stat by 1 (for POW, CON, SPD, FLD, ARM click to the left in the editor to set it smaller, preferably below 99). Then you can try to edit the other players. The game has some internal checks and this seems to get around it.

I have followed this method dozens of times. The last two trainers have not placed "arrows" in the roster to allow you to add or subtract any stats. Everything else seems to work fine.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
