F1 to activate not working. im not sure the trainer knows where my game is. Under settings in the trainer, the game path is empty? i tried finding the game via E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life Alyx\game\bin\win64 but i couldn't get it to work still. Is the HLVR.exe the correct application path?

Was it ever working for you? Valve just updated the game to v1.1 and that seems to have broken the trainer. I got the same error after updating the game, but it was working beforehand. If you haven't reported it and made a file update request yet, would you mind doing so? Takes at least 3 reports to initiate an update request.

can not active by click F1 and report as failed...
Activate at the main menu / ingame, not while the game is loading for main menu. Else post the error log here.
Getting the same error. I've tried at the main menu/ in game, alt-tabbing, pretty much every scenario I could think of and I get the following error:

Are you trying to tell us these trainers don't get made instantly? That it takes hard work and dedication by actual people? Who knew?

Don't see anyone impatiently ranting. I see pretty polite requests to be honest.
For the most part it's not such an urgent thing anyway. You can get the console to come up and you can use the HL2 cheats without consequence.
