I have followed the instruction for getting Achievements on Steam but either i'm doing something wrong or i don't know, Can someone please explain step by step how can i get steam achievements and use the trainer? Thanks

If you want to use the trainer with the STEAM version and get ACHIEVEMENTS,
you need to take the included file:
mcclauncher.exe
and replace the file in the folder here:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection
with it.
Make a backup of your original file (mcclauncher.exe)
Then run the game from STEAM normally:
Click PLAY, then select
Play Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
You will get the achievements.
ONLINE PLAY ACHIEVEMENTS will still need to be earned ONLINE and the trainer cannot be used ONLINE,
so make sure to replace with the backup you made when you want to go online.

I need to confirm this with those who are playing HALO: CE on LEGENDARY difficulty.
So far trainer worked for me on lower difficulty but the issues are with legendary.
1. Super damage also applies to spartan and as such just getting one hit from enemy gets you killed.
2. Unlimited ammo sometimes work and sometimes don't.
Please confirm if it's correct or not.
I can confirm that you indeed can still die from explosions and sword elites. Seems that it has to be "direct". So standing on top of something exploding or taking a direct sword hit. Easy to replicate just by standing on an explosion. Other than that, the trainer works well. Just have to be extremely careful when playing LASO because you can indeed still die.
It is a script based thing I believe that high fall damage, one hit kill from sword, backstab and rocket shot in the face, they will kill you instantly. It has nothing to do with the trainer I believe.
Beat the game on normal using all cheat functions and still died a few times because of that. So just play nice and dodge them shots. 😈
