Yeah I had all Sabre options working perfectly on legendary. I'm not sure what issues others are experiencing but I had none. Not even accidental deaths by crashing into other ships or random debris.
Unfortunately, Sabre options are not working on LASO Campaign on Playlist. They do work on Legendary, but for some reason I can't get them to work on this Playlist campaign. Any idea's or help would be appreciated. BTW, I can't hide and let NPC help destroy enemy space craft. They all get destroyed and die.
what is a "play list" campaign?

what is a "play list" campaign?
Play list campaign is just a selection of certain missions that you can play in a row for nothing more than "lore" purposes. Should have no effect on trainer not functioning properly.
I'm not sure what the issue with your end is unforunately. I never experienced any issues with my LASO run. It was just as smooth as my legendary. I took a screenshot of my achievements as proof just to show i'm not just talking random **** and misleading you. It did indeed work for me so maybe something on your end got muddled up. I wish I could give you any particular advice but if it's working on your regular legendary run, it should for LASO.

I agree with your deduction that since the Sabre ship options worked during the Campaign in Legendary mode that they should work in Reach LASO Campaign Playlist. When did you enable the Sabre Ship options? I disable the personal options just before climbing the stairs to the Sabre. Once in space, I enable the Sabre options only. Is this what you do or a different sequence? I just tried again and failed again. I can beat the Banshee's but I quickly fail against the second wave of ships: I lose shields very quickly!

Try keeping the sabre trainers activated even before you start the mission. That's possibly what I did but I can't confirm 100 percent. Just have it activated before you even start the mission?
Hi, can anyone still unlock xbox live achievements through the method save/quit on the last checkpoint of the mission and switch to the anti cheat version of the game to finish the mission?

Yes. Although I recommend just spending the small amount of money on Halo: Reach on Steam and use CH's custom exe to unlock achievements easily
