@83412: If you start the editor and activate it a messagebox appears on the desktop. You have to click on okay on that before doing anything else.
alright I got the game to launch with the editor now....Link sorry if I sound tired... but this is keeping me up trying every angle I can think of....
Take a look at the inventory acting crazy as you mouse over it in that clip... in the link above...

I am a long user of cheathappens and I never regrettet finding this side years ago.
That being said I have a small problem that I can not fix on my own.
FOllowing happens has happend:
Starting game
Starting Editor
Editor shows logo
nothing happens
Next try:
Start Game
Start CRC exe [same as I use with the trainer]
Start Editor
Editor Shows CH logo
Nothing happens.
Next Try:
Start and try to boot up Editor.
Shows Logo
Vanishesd and nothing happens.
I downloaded an older version
11.29.2019
Works right of the box. [can't attach to process because well it is old but it at least boots up]
is there some tips or fixes I could try?
I have done the following:
Deinstalling my regular browser and all addons [chrome compleltly]
Starting in unsigned mode
disabling any kind of firewall
nothing has helped.
The Editor was working 1 week ago.
Please make sure you have the following:
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x64
dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x86

I have uninstalled everything dot.net cleaned the residue data and installed the dot.net from your link saddly same as before.
It starts and then vanishes.
is there some kind of *.log file I could take a look at or some other dot.net version I need?

Do the changes made to weapon stats persist after game reload? Because the changes I made don't persist, even if I save the game, so I have to manually edit the stats again every time I play.

That's intended. You should read the Readme file that came with the trainer 😉. It says,
"Selected Equipment Stats:
Same instructions as for 'Selected Equipment' however to make your changed stats become active you have to re-equip the item. Stats will reset after game restart."
