OK, well that's good to know, many thanks for taking the time to reply.

Install .NET Core v3.1 from Microsoft.
    dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x64
    dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/3.1/runtime/desktop/x86

Did you take the time to read my post?

I have installed BOTH dotnet Core 3.1 files, restarted my system and tried to run the trainer (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trainer (12.04.2019)) and, after the intitial CH splash screen with the "Customized for:" I get a large window that goes from the top of my screen all the way down and off the bottom of the screen listing error details for the Cheat Happens Trainer. There's no scroll bar so I can't scroll the contents of the window to see just how many lines there are! First line reads:

System.Exception: OSVersionHelper.GetOSVersion Could not detect OS!

That's followed by a very long list of details about the error.

I've tried uninstalling, restarting, re-installing, restarting but this error keeps popping up! I had a previous version of the trainer which ran fine with dotnet Core 3.0.1 installed (I had both dotnet-runtime-3.0.1-win-x64.exe and windowsdesktop-runtime-3.0.1-win-x64.exe installed) and I uninstalled both dotnet Core 3.0.1 files before installing the TWO dotnet Core 3.1 files that you keep linking. I've tried installing just the windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.0-win-x64.exe version but I get the same error when trying to run the trainer. I've also tried the dotnet-sdk-3.1.100-win-x64.exe in case I was missing some files or something but I still get the same error with the trainer!

For some reason this trainer is NOT detecting my OS. I've got 33 other CH trainers installed which all work fine, it's just the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trainer (12.04.2019) which isn't working.

I'm out of ideas as to what to try to fix this. I'm running Windows 10 updated to version 1909 on 24th Nov. 2019. For the time being I've uninstalled all of the dotnet 3.0.1, 3.1.0 and 3.1.100 SDK programs.

You are definitely going to need dotnet .core runtime desktop 3.1 no matter what, for the future.

    Can you try this trainer?

    www.cheathappens.com/72611-PC-Darksiders-Genesis-trainer

and see if it runs? That trainer requires (as does many of our latest trainer and most of the new trainers for the future) runtime desktop 3.1 or higher.

Also download and run this trainer, then copy the information on the DEBUG page and paste it here, so I have an idea of some things:

    www.cheathappens.com/65261-PC-Monster-Hunter-World-trainer

We will try to get to the bottom of this. It may be that 0x90 can do a Teamviewer session to at least gather information.

You can also post your trainer somewhere and then PM me a link so I can download it and examine it and compare it to mine. I just tried downloading and running the trainer, and it's fine here.

Are you SURE you are using the LATEST POSTED trainer for STAR WARS, that is on top? Maybe clear internet cache? Maybe it's downloading an older version or something? Just covering bases here.

thanks for your patience while we examine this and work through it.

We may link to a tool that we use to look at the PE format of programs on specific OS. There may be something unique about your system or some other thing we've missed here. But let's gather this stuff first.

    best,
    Cal

Can I just check on exactly what dotnet files I need please? The links being provided now just take me to download dotnet-windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.0-win-x86.exe and dotnet-windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.0-win-x64.exe. But the previous version of dotnet stuff I downloaded and installed was dotnet-runtime-3.0.1-win-x64.exe and dotnet-windowsdesktop-runtime-3.0.1-win-x64.exe though I uninstalled both of these before installing the two 3.1 files. Though, as I said, I also tried dotnet-sdk-3.1.100-win-x64.exe but still got the same error. If I just install the SDK file will that install everything I need?

I'll give those two trainers a try and report back on the results.

As for the version of this trainer, I use the CH Trainer Manager and it shows the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order as "VER: 12.04.2019" and does not show any trainer as needing an update. The folder where I install all my CH Trainers shows a filename of "71871-GrizzlyUK-Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Trainer.exe" with a filesize of 5.69MB and the file properties show the date for Created, Modified and Accessed as 04 ‎December ‎2019, ‏‎12:00:04. Not sure what else I can provide to confirm the trainer version I have, but if you want I'll try downloading the latest version again to really ensure I have the latest version.

But for now I'll re-install the two 3.1 dotnet files (dotnet-windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.0-win-x86.exe and dotnet-windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.0-win-x64.exe) and get to testing those two trainers so I can let you know the results.

I get the feeling that the solution is going to turn out to be that I've missed something somewhere somehow.

I did have the same problem, trainer not working cause of missing dot.net, i did click the link cal did post and downloaded the x64 bit version and then the trainer worked as a charm again.

Not sure how this is gonna be tonight since windows did release a new update a few times now with this missing dot.net files so i hope they did not mess things up like before.

    I will post a new msg if i run into a problem 😀 😀

The trainer no longer starts at all, the process closes without a message.
Namely that it worked before and I used it a lot.

All my other trainers are working, and I haven't changed anything since the last time I used them.

The only elements that have taken place in the meantime are:
    - An update of Windows 10 1909 (18363.535)
    - An update of .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8
    - An update of Nvidia drivers
    - An update of the game (but the trainer doesn't start even without me starting the game, so it can't be related to that)

I don't know if the Windows 10 security fix has anything to do with it, but I see absolutely no other probable cause for an almost direct blockage of the executable (i.e. Windows 10 antiransomware protection is disabled, there is no active antivirus, or anything else, and the launch as administrator doesn't change anything)

Unfortunately I can't find any logins to provide to help, but I wanted to warn you, more than anything else.

Edit : I have DL the previous Trainer, to try, and it start, ok it can work but it start well, i have reDL the last trainer, and no change, it dont start. So this is the EXE who hase a problem after patch of Win/.NET (no other solution)

    - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trainer HF2 (11.19.2019) = Start (but ok it's outdated)
    - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Trainer (12.04.2019) = No Start

it's oblivious but i want to be clear because english is not my natural language, I hope that everything is therefore understandable.

    you need desktop runtime.

desktop just reinstalls the runtime and adds more files for desktop apps.
