I try again, either the trainer will go to "not responding" or said trainer fail.

Aurora is down for everyone. The last update has blacked it out across the board. Check the main forum

In regards to the Editor value showing ??, this could be because the game enters the menu upon losing focus, IE alt+tab to trainer from game will cause the game to enter the pause menu causing the trainer editor to show ??. This can be fixed by ensuring that overlay for this specific game is enabled keeping the focus on the game. This is not a trainer problem per se, this is the way the game works .😣

Has anyone else found a workaround for the trainer hotkeys not working in game? I tried the advice of starting the trainer after the game loads but no luck.

I have to alt+tab out of game to access the trainer and that`s fine except the game automatically reverts to a windowed display mode, rather than the fullscreen mode I have set.

I have tried to enable the trainers in game overlay with no luck as well. Any tips or other ideas would be appriciated

The set money on pickup works and adds the amount of money. but the moment you buy anything, the money comes back down to what it was previously. Any tips?
I have tried save-load immediately but no difference.

Ensure you have turned off the option for "set money on pickup" while purchasing items or it will reduce your money. However, if you have it on while selling items, it will adjust your money to the amount set in the trainer. As with most trainer options, it's safest to turn on while you need it then turn it off for all other situations.

I experienced that briefly after an aurora update. I deleted all the temp files, uninstalled aurora, reinstalled, and then (after ensuring I waited to start the trainer until after rdr2 reached the menu where you can select story/online mode) it has worked ever since.

Am I the only one, that can't save the game, after I've activated the trainer?
