Red Dead Redemption 2 Message Board  

My Norton caused this for me, so I had to disable Auto-Protect & Smart Firewall or the trainer would not open. It did display an "signature not valid" error message or something similar, but with the above mentioned options disable it starts fine.

I run the trainer and activate it, but then any time I try to turn something on, I get an error message like this, for example:

23:53:25: Controller detected
23:53:25: Red Dead Redemption 2, 1232.48 (STEAM/EPIC/ROCKSTARLAUNCHER)
23:53:28: Successfully attached to RDR2
23:53:33: Script error in line 1: Cannot find aob for 'God_Mode'
23:59:03: Script error in line 3: Cannot find aob for 'Set_Money'

run the trainer as admin, then run the game using any of the 3 distribution platforms desktop shortcuts of the game, wait till you are all the way loaded into singleplayer then activate the trainer.

So here's what I've done regarding the F1 activation "issues."

Running: Windows 10.
Trainer is set to run as administrator.
Steam version of the game.
Ryzen 7 processor.
Current version of both the trainer and game.

Started in Full Screen Mode. Alt-tab out to activate would work but you had to do that at all times, pressing any of the trainer hotkeys while in-game would not activate their respective feature. Restart the computer and game. Attempted the same except activating after in-game instead of at the main menu. No go. Reboot.

Switched to Windowed Borderless mode for the game. Same issue. Reboot.

Switched to Windows mode for the game. Same issues. Reboot.

Looking at the trainer I noted that Horse unlimited health is mapped to F1, so I changed that to an unused keyboard command (either in-game or the trainer) Redid the above. Same issues. Always had to alt-tab out then select whatever trainer feature you wanted (they worked fine).

Next, I started examining the default keyboard mapping of the game. F1 is mapped by default to "interact with feed" (Complete a mission etc). I switched that to an unused command and tried all the above again. Same result. Restored game mapping to default and the same with the trainer mapping. Reboot.

Finally, I thought perhaps the trainer was starting in muted mode. So I tried cntrl-H to unmute after being in the game and then trying each of the various trainer futures. No aural confirmation ("Activated", no visual activation indicated in the trainer). Cntrl-H again and then repeated this. Same result as above.

Please note that in any of the above situations if the trainer is the focus in windows, with the game in the background, using the numpad or F keys will give the exact results they're supposed to.

Since I prefer full screen and nothing made a difference for convenience of use trainer wise, I'm going back to full screen and will just alt-tab top the trainer as needed.

Hi， do you all have a problem that the zeroing is wrong when u activate the trainer?
it means the cross hair will not be directly on the target to get a accurate shot

Pardon me if this has been brought up before,

I just got a new rig and a fresh install of everything, when I activated the cheats I wanted from the trainer, Arthur was frozen in place with his arms out, what causes that? I would love to know the proper steps to take so I can avoid this issue in the future, any help would be appreciated.. I hadn't been able to run this game for some time, so I forgot the steps to take to not have the characters frozen.

As for the difference in the game from one rig to another, I couldn't even see wanted posters sometimes on the old sysytem, now the game is PS4 Pro level detail if not better. Having 8 GB's of Vram helps I guess, lol.

I had the same issue. I turned off easy hunting, and this seemed to resolve the issue.

The trainer works fine for me except it seems that Super Cowboy Mode makes some enemies unbeatable. Like in the mission WHO IS NOT WITHOUT SIN where you get into a fist fight. I have now been beating on this guy for 10 minutes and he doesn't go down. After I turned off the trainer, the game gave me the mission objective to beat him and I finally could. I tried turning off just the Super Cowboy Mode cheat, but that didn't work.
