It has to do with early missions for cure for melichor and ancient secrets and doing them in the wrong order.... im stuck at the trials of waters. Wondering if anyone else here is having this problem too.... 25 hrs in and this happens....

When you are saying your are stucked, what exactly do you mean with that?. That you can't leave the Region or that a Trigger in the Game is not being being released and a mission therefore can't be finished?.

I cant proceed further in the quest line. Ive read that this bug prevents a quest called prince's secret to trigger. The devs know this problem and are finding a solution but they said they cant promise 100% fix... Just letting people know here and hope someone here maybe found a fix.

The bug comes to life when you have overdone it with the skills. You get some skill points just right before and if you already have them like all in the inner circle of the skills it gets confused and you stuck. Reload a previous save where you havent ^%$#^$#^ the skill tree. Or use the editor. Hope this info helps.

To avoid the bug, you must do the following:
When reporting to Constantin, if you've talked to the two governors and explored the "Did e kiden nadaigeis" ruins, AVOID talking about the ruins first, you HAVE to talk about the governors first.
If you talk about the ruins before talking about the governors, "The Prince's Secret" quest will not trigger.
News on the patch will be coming soon."

This came from the Focus Team in the Greedfall forums.

Thankfully I didn't get that bug on my first toon. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

It has been patched.
