Turn it on to get full, then turn off then use ability. Rinse and repeat. Can't leave it on due to the way Ubi made that ability.

Ok, have not played the game in a long time, and they really downturned the graphics way down, when I played on a 1080 with 8GB, it was better than later with a 2080 with 8Gb and now with a 3080 16Gb is even worse!!!! What happened??? why did they kill this game, because they want us to play Divison 2? I have over 2000 hours logged on there, but the initial effects of GRB where wonderful....

Anyway, I enable the upgrades, get 999 of all parts, but it will not let me up to 2nd tier or 3rd tier, nothing works on that front.

Ideas?

Sorry I was not here for so long that I cannot read 100's of posts, just wondering if I have the parts, why the game doesn't upgrade my weapon.

And the graphics took such a dive I want to sell my licence....

You have to have all the parts first, it will only give you 999 of what you have on hand.

Indeed. I do have all the parts, and on the upgrade screen, it tells me I have 999 of 3 needed. That is the thing, even before enabling the trainer, I already had all the parts, and plenty of, from having played before. So my savegame had everything. That is what I found strange, my inventory is full of parts, consumables and so on.

That is what had me stumped...

I tried the trainer option after it showed the upgrade option grayed out even though I had some 700 parts for it.... Then I enabled the trainer option, it showed now 999 parts, but still the upgrade option is grayed out. On the other issue, have you noticed that since launch they downgraded the graphics a lot? It look nothing like it did before whatever it is they did...
Just curious on this second issue, as at least for me, wants to make me stop playing it, it became almost cartoonish.... Like they lowered the graphics so as to speed up the playing or something about fps....

I don't think you can upgrade with the option left on. Use it for max parts, then turn it off, exit menu, go back in and upgrade the gun. I remember running into this as well now that I think about it. Not sure if both 999 options have to be off or not, but safer to deactivate both just in case.
