my one drive is not letting me delete some files

I had the same activation issue. I tried doing as this poster suggested, after having tried every other solution appearing on the forum, to no avail. I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and the trainer is now working for me.

So I just bought Phoenix point from Epic, downloaded the trainer, launched the trainer and the game and get Can't find the game. Any suggestions? Thanks

You've probably downloaded the Windows Store version, check for the (EPIC) in the title of the trainer in the trainer page for Phoenix Point

There are two trainers posted, one listed for (GAME PASS), the other just has the title. You want to download the one that doesn't say (GAME PASS).

Recently installed the game again, downloaded the new trainer, hit that error, followed these directions. Trainer worked fine. However I have to literally do this EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to start the game + trainer! Something is wonky. No, I'm not using the mod loader.

To reiterate, I can do the above, including rebooting. Launch the game + trainer, everything works fine. If for some reason I close the game and restart it, I get this same error again, and have to go back through the above steps just to get it to work again. My game is up to date, matches the version number on the trainer, 1.0.54748. No mods installed, no modifications to any of the vanilla files at all.

This happens as soon as I press F1. The previous version used to work. I tried it and got the same error.

I have .Net 3.1 installed and downloaded the Epic version.

I tried the fix...

delete all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90\
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work

reboot, try again.

...but it didn't help. Still getting the error. Note that I am still a Win7 holdout. I'm getting the impression that this trainer is for Win10 only?

It's known to work better on Windows 10. Like MS, we will end support for Win 7 on Jan 14th of this year. I think it's time for an upgrade.
