Got this reply, so uninstalled and reinstalled using the link, and also uninstalled and reinstalled the other piece too, both latest versions. Still nothing. Really don't know what to do at this point other than fiddling around with the order install things.
The new trainer template requires the new Microsoft .net core 3.1, with all the latest speed and features it provides.
Go here to download and install it. Only takes a few seconds to install and your trainer will work.

Dumb Question (with minor spoiler):
In the editor, I see values for Food, Materials, & Tech. But nothing for Mutagens. Spoiler:
never seen or heard of mutagens when I played the game. We didn't play the game for 20 hours.
I have no progressions or saves with it either.

Hello is't mostly a message to Cheat Happens guys it is not a promotion of other trainers but you can look at this guy cheathappens trainer for the game i loaded it and it works good sow maybe there is something.And thank you for all your work guys

his trainer came out months after ours, then 48 hours after we put our updated trainer that was available literally an hour after the game came out. It also is missing many of the options we worked hard to provide, including being able to literally change the health of each individual thing in the game. I am sorry the trainer doesn't function exactly like you would like it to but we won't be looking into other's software to steal parts of it.
