I know where or what host game, but how do I set things for SP, and what does SP mean in this context?

Sorry for the confusion. SP is "Single Player". Under "HOST GAME" you can select who can join. If you select "Nobody" and then "Offline" the game will save when you enter a map. Then you can play single player and when you restart the game, it will continue at the beginning of the map you were last on (same will happen if you lose all your shared lives). Hope that helps.

ah Damn! I thought there'd be some option to play offline in the youngblood icon once I turned my WIFI off to let my play offline like I've done with games on steam in the past, but the Bethesda Launcher wont allow me to do that, so how do I play offline?

I don't use the Betehsda Launcher. I go to the Wolfenstein Youngblood sub-directory and just run the exe from there (running from a shortcut on your desktop won't work). Then I click on Host Game. It will then take you to the Who Can Join. Select Nobody (Offline) and then Start Game. You should be able to start and continue from then on. Good Luck.
