OK, here's what's happening. whenever I start the game with the anti-cheat
disabled via the modified launcher, while on the main menu or in-game, the audio
is silent. I check the volume and it's at max, but the game's audio isn't playing.

OK, what I meant was this...if you disable EAC (easy anti-cheat)
& then load the game (with or without trainer), the game's audio
both in-game & main menu are mute, disabling the anti-cheat apparently
disable's the game's audio. no doubt a glitch from the recent update
