Since the trainer is updated for March 4, it is strange the latest trainer version is listed for game version 26102 HF.

Because as per dev's patch notes, March 4 Steam build is 32246 -> steamcommunity.com/app/919640/discussions/0/1752401986772189211/

I shall file update req too since the options also don't work for me. F1 activates trainer but pressing any options makes the trainer hang.

So the trainer works great in singleplayer. However me and my friends are trying to run a private online match and give ourselves an actual divisions worth of units. but it seems to cause us to desync. Is there anyway to avoid this? we don't want to use it to cheat in open online matches.

No, trainer is for single player only.

Trainer works nicely but as it is with all Eugene game trainer also works for IA. Even if you deploy your troops during the initial phase activating the triner will make it available for the IA. For the Trainer to activate during the game be it deployment or battle you have to let the time go otherwise the trainer doesn't change anything. And if you let the time go with the trainer activated or activate it it will work for the IA. That is not a trouble with the trainer itself but how Eugene systeme patheticaly coded their game. Try playing a scenario without the trainer like the first historic mission the two Russian AI will align 10 /15infantry brigades and 10 thanks plus a few motocycles/jeep. Deploy with the trainer activated then turn it off and you will face like 50 tanks and a hundred infantry brigades. In a way that's to avoid using trainers

Latest trainer posted is working as intended. Trainer was created and tested on SOLO SKIRMISH mode.

😁 Thank you Cal'...just looked yesterday after buying this on steam sale and seeing it had some update requests and now this trainer update .and that's why I love these guys. Be safe out there folks!
