This has happened to me, and I have to turn off "No Reload" so that the gun can get ammo the first time, then turn it on and everything is fine.

Are we doing a stealth mode like the other Metro games?

Or maybe a "weapon stays clean" option?

Game isn't programmed like other games..

I tried to do stealth option and came up with

Creatures Don't Attack:
Toggle on and many non-human creatures will approach but will not attack. Some attacks are scripted in the game.

I submitted a request for that before you responded. My bad.

I'd prefer to have a "keep weapon clean" option. That weapon degrade is bad. If someone can clear out the stealth mode option, I'll resubmit for a different one since I can only do one option request per game.

I have no idea where weapon degradation or dirty weapon indicator is located or where there is some meter for this, maybe you can elaborate

@Caliber: If you visit a work station and switch to weapons there is a floating bar for every weapon indicating the overall "health" status of the weapon. You can repair it by holding down key. Health status decreases when weapon is being used or when you walk into water.
