What's with the bizarre numbering? Latest Steam non-EE version is 1.0.0.7 yet the closest legacy trainer I see is 1.0.0.4, and then they go straight to 1.0.1+. Is Steam seriously behind on patches or something?

And what's "HF"?

HF = Hot Fix

Not sure if the trainer is functioning as it should, but i can not prove its a trainer issue. started playing the game few days ago, every hour or so game freezes when using the trainer options causes a critical crash, i have to use the sign out option via task manager to shut the game down due to a critcal crash. So for past 5 hours tonight i have played without the latest Trainer 1.0.1.7 and no critical crashes. (freeze-lockup) just tried Trainer again and within 30 mins that same crash again.

Drem. Patience.There are formalities that must be observed, at the first meeting of two of the dov. By long tradition, the elder speaks first. Hear my Thu'um! Feel it in your bones. Match it, if you are Dovahkiin!

I had a couple of crashes, but nothing too severe, was able to complete the game fine though. Mero 2033 and Last light was the same way for me, think it has to do with DX12, try dx11 and lower the graphics a bit, seemed to do the trick in all 3 games for me.

Well well , Its the return of the DX-12 not functioning again as it seemed to have been same issue for me in Last Light.

I have tried the Trainer in Dx11 mode and to no avail. within mins of it activating. Game crashes everytime. Have tried without trainer active in both DX11 and DX12 and game runs fine. I had been getting the Error that is mentioned in the Trainer info,
15:31:23: Error while loading settings: There is an error in XML document (0, 0).
15:31:23: Metro Exodus, 1.0.1.7 EPIC 1.0.0.7 STEAM (STEAM/EPIC)
i have numerous times deleted the '65398_SE.xml' keeps appearing.
Everytime i now run the trainer game will crash regardless in Dx11 or Dx12 and changing various graphic settings. Still same game Crashing. so i will continue to make the enquiry on update notification system.

Are you using it on the enhanced version??? Cuz there is a separate trainer for that.

No i am running the Metro Exodus (standard Version) i do not have enhanced version installed.
