In the newest trainer layout the global settings there is no option to save global settings, so every time i start the trainer I have to re-tick the mute trainer box. Is there a fix, or a way around this, or am I the only one experiencing this?

It is automatically created when you close the trainer. Please verify the following directory exist and if not create it yourself, then try again and let me know if it has worked.

    C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\Trainer Settings\

Yes the folder is there, and there are files in it. Tried to switch off read-only for the folder and tried again, but it still won't save my settings.

Is there a Global.xml file in it? If it is delete it and try again. If not, can you please tell me the trainer and your OS?

It is, I even tried deleting it before. Closing the trainer creates a new one, as it should. It also saves SOME settings, for instance the dark mode gets saved, but the mute trainer option doesn't stick. It's happens with the new trainers, like in Resident Evil 2, God Eater 3, etc and I'm on Windows 10.

EDIT: I attached my global.xml to the post, in case you would like to check it.

My mistake, sorry. The mute hotkeys option is only per-session and gets lost on exit. So its the only option that doesn't persist as it reflects the mute hotkeys state using the mute hotkeys - hotkey, which was never saved.

But I see this is a problem when you wish it to be muted by default so I'll add a second option to mute it globally. It's only available in trainers which gets updated in the future.

Fyi that option has been added and will be available on trainer updates and new trainer releases.
