Try saving the game first, leave to main menu, go back in and see if the change is still made and try it again. Don't have this game so that's about all I can think to do right now.

I am not sure what more to say. its just doesnt work for me.

Run trainer. run game, wait till the game has fully launched and start a new game / load your save. wait till its loaded to a point where you can play, then activate it.

The game has been updated to version 11.1.1010647 (DLC tourist season) and it seems that the trainer is not working correctly, since although the happiness option is activated, visitors do not come to the island beyond 150 people, no matter what I do to attract them.

Thats one of the many things i have tried. I have tried using trainer in main menu after just launching the game, i have tried it after fully loading into game, i have tried loading into game, exiting to main menu and launch it. I have tried to run trainer as administrator, i have tried to alt tab, and activating trainer by pressing "click here". I realyl have tried pretty much everything. But it always returns the same error.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

When I try to activate it, I get:
18:43:01: Anno 1800, 11.1.1010647 (STEAM/UBISOFTCONNECT/EPIC/UBISOFTPLUS)
18:43:58: Successfully attached to Anno1800
18:44:02: game, Script error in line 9: Cannot find aob for 'originalcode_5871'

And a statement that the trainer failed.
