I don't know if anyone else did but I TRIED to get a pic of it last night with my crappy old camera, when the moon was like almost directly over the house! The camera just REFUSED to focus so out of like a "million tries" in the freezing cold I did get this one below. I mean sure we're talking about something over 220,000 miles (354,000+ km) away but still.... If anyone else has some pix they took themselves, please share! ^_^

I wanted to do the same, but the moon was red about 5am where i am and unfortunately it was cloudy
These events are rare enough unless you globetrot
Looking at your picture, i have seen worse shown on the tv

Thx! The camera is old and weird, I mean it was pricey when I got it but is now maybe worth $5....

The only other pic I had that was almost impossible to see because its more distant and so dark was

I could've adjusted brightness/contrast to see more detail but I didn't want to mess with the original. I just resized my images for lower resolution.

I'm here in the states where it started around 10:30pm and was supposed to be fully covered an hour later. BUT it was freezing cold here at like 22 deg F with winds that put it in the area of 5 to 10 def F. Those translate to around negative 5.5C, negative 15 to negative 12.22C. I'm trying to use more text than symbols because the board flagged my post for the degree symbols, parenthesis, negative signs etc., as being potentially harmful to the site.... 🤔
