Same. I shot him in a room full of guards, dumped his body in a nearby bin, and walked out like I owned the place. Even turned the "no see ums" trainer options back off before I left the exit just to see what would happen. Nothing did, I left, Silent Assassin.

One thing I would suggest to anyone attempting the latest Elusive Target is to first activate the trainer and just start a normal run on the map that the elusive target is to be found in. Turn on the appropriate cheats you want to use, test them out, if all seems to be working, THEN back out and start the latest Elusive.

This worked for me in the previous game every single time. Silent Assassin on all of them (except the last one I ever did, but that was more my impatience in finding some item on the map that I couldn't find for the life of me and I messed up)

I have a question:
Does game binaries distributed by Steam may be different for each region (EMEA, CONUS, etc.)?

Because, when the first 1.1 hotfix was released, it ran well for most players, but not for me, until CH updated it.

And as strange as it can be, the 1.2 game release (which contains obviously more code changes than the hotfix) did not prevent the "1.1 hotfixed" trainer to continue running well, including for elusive target, at least on my computer. But not for some of other players.

PWizard, would you mind giving us clues on this matter? 🙂
