Or manually delete all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Make sure

C:\Users\user\CheatHappens\Work

is added to the exclusion list in your security software.

Thanks. I will definitely try this (once I get more HD space--uninstalled Odyssey to make room for Origins)

EDIT: your batch file does NOT work. I've also added the trainer as an exception on Windows Defender...but that does NOT work, either. Apparently this trainer somehow broke.

Also...it seems that this error ONLY affects the Steam+Uplay trainer, not the Ubisoft Plus version. However, the Ubisoft Plus version has a few options which do not work, namely the XP and ability points ones.

Then your using the wrong trainer, there is one for plus and 1 for non plus

Trainer #1 is for plus
Trainer #2 is for regular non plus connect

DRIVE LETTERS MUST MATCH WHERE WINDOWS IS INSTALLED

I did everything you just said, but the batch code didn't work. Strangely, the Ubisoft Plus version works just fine, but the Steam+Ubisoft version seems to open as a Wordpad document and I'm told there was an unexpected error involving some randomly-numbered .tmp file.

Okay...currently eating crow. Yummy...🤢

By specifically adding the C:\Users\User\CheatHappens\Work filepath to Windows Defender's exceptions list, it forced the wayward trainer to start working again. Thing is, why was this not necessary for the Ubisoft Plus version? Completely flummoxed on that one. 😵

Different code and method in the trainers as the game exe is slightly different between uplay plus and regular uplay, method to attach trainer may not be flagged by security databases yet.

Good thing I've got "old" trainers flagged as exceptions in Windows Defender now. Hopefully I won't have to deal with this situation in the future.

Virus, false positive databases and your software update daily, can happen at anytime. Best to just make a folder for all your trainers and add it to the exclusion list as well as the work folder.
