So I am not sure why today the trainer is having issues, but for some reason it isn't able to connect to the internet. I have deleted all those folders/files you mentioned, redownloaded the file, added it to the exemptions list, and run it as admin, but I still keep having this issue. I have tried 5 other trainers that I have and they all work fine, though a few require an update on my part. Did I miss something?

The trainer won't connect to CH or the game won't connect to Ubisoft. Ubisoft servers are pretty bad and with live service elements built into the game for the store and oricalum stuff anytime they do maintenance it bogs way down. Thay are also doing alot of work behind the scenes to Uplay as well.

How is Unlimited Ship Health supposed to work then? Because, with it on, the ship still takes a lot of damage, it even went down to the final bar during one such sea skirmish.

Worked fine for me when I used it. Don't activate ship options until you in control of the ship.

Ah, right, thanks. And, turn it off when boarding an enemy vessel and generally abandoning command?

Not sure bout the enemy vessel part, i just sunk em all with unlim. fire weapons/ammo LoL. Couple of times I did leave it on when on land but they all still worked when I re-boarded the ship.

I don't think I turned them off boarding the enemy either, just left things on.

If you just sink them you might pass up some good loot you'd have to swim to get later, also there's sometimes some decent recruits. And if you're getting attacked by a bunch of enemy ships, they kinda hang back while you're boarding the enemy ship. Sinking is faster, yeah, but there's some good fighting when boarding, too.
