CornerMuppet, and anyone else with this or these issues, I found when the options don't work, simply exit the abilities, the switch to the trainer (Alt-TAB) and manually start the option there. Alt-Tab back into the game and the points are there.

Hope this helps. It works for other options that you get the verbal "Activated" but no change in game. Just make sure it's Deactivated before ALT-Tabbing to the trainer.

this happens with a few others as well. just dont remember what ones.

I was having the same issue, changing the compatibility of the trainer to win 8 and fixed the issue for me.

didnt work.

Could also be due to new Windows 10 features (app and browser control part of Windows Security).

I was able to run the trainer on 4 different computers here with no issues

no special monitor setup or anything unusual here
