Worked just fine for me last night. I'm quite a ways into the game, with most race types at level 6-10.
und you can still do the credit-method with buying parts and Num4->Num5?

For the third time, yes. I was able to do this before and after the update.

LOL, welcome to my world
Can anyone confirm in credits is still working or not?
It works. I set credits to 100k, 100m, and then 400 million earlier today using the buy tires, hit 4 to capture, wait for deactivation, and spam 5 while in the save screen. The method has been listed previously in the threads if you want more detail. It works. Credits worked before patch with old trainer. Credit set works with newest patch and newest trainer.
no it doesnt work anymore. I've done it correctly with capturing while buying and it doesnt add credits
btw: since which point you are unaible to set credits? i've just get my house from the first stunt and tried it at this point but no success

Probably to far into the game. Link
This worked for me
1.open the trainer after I launch game
2.activate trainer when your fully loaded in and can drive around.
3.go to garage and open upgrades for your car
4.select 1 item you haven't purchase yet (something cheap!)
5.now that you have something in the cart hit esc until you get the options "install setup", "view basket" etc and this is where you hit 4 then "install setup" so you get "deactivated" on the buy page.
7.when it says deactivated click on buy
8 while it's saving hit 5 on the numpad and it should work or spam it =)
After following that way Ive done it time after time without failure
This worked!! Thank you!!
For anyone attempting to follow these instructions, I followed it exactly, and with no lag between steps. So as SOON as I heard deactivated I IMMEDIATELY clicked on Buy and nearly simultaneously started holding down the Num-5 button and kept holding it until it finished Saving. Successfully set my credits to 900,000,000.
Posting steps again for those not in the know. For what it's worth I was already quite a ways in, with a stable of 60-ish cars, 2 mil in the bank, and levels 6-10 for most disciplines, so I don't think there's any truth to those saying it only works up to a certain point. It worked 2 days ago, and there has been a patch since then. Can't confirm if it still works, but I will try again once I get home. Also, when I did this I had my ethernet adapter disabled, so no internet at all, to make sure I wasn't in multiplayer. After I had the credits, I closed the trainer, enabled my internet, joined a Horizon Life session, and starter playing as normal. Went and bought ALL the houses, which ended up netting me 45 Super Wheel Spins. With all the income I got from those and from playing in the last 2 days, my credits are still above 840 million, and I've been freely buying cars from the Auto Show and Auction House, so to anyone who's worried about a ban, if you only use the credits option, I'd say you're safe.
well I don't understand why it is not working for me.
Trainer correctly activated, putting 1 item at the shopping card, pressing Num4 at options (install setup", "view basket", immediately installing after pressing NUM4, getting deactivated, buying and right after that spamming Num5 when saving...no credits added
Are you trying to add credits or set credits? If you're trying to add credits, and the value is less than what you have already, it won't change. I figured that out pretty early on. It's not adding 100,000 by default, it's setting to 100,000. So if you have a few million, it's not gonna do anything.
Try setting the value past what you have now and see how that works.
If that doesn't work, right click and run the trainer as admin, and try again.
If that doesn't work, I dunno, start grinding races as hard as you can. I'm pretty sure there was talk about the trainer credit setting not working later in the game's progression, so you might be there.
