don't use numpad 5 in the game because it crash/freeze the game,i have report this when asking for a update van the trainer.

I thought I was the one having that issue not using it correctly, my XP one isn't working and tried the level one... then the whole game frozen, no one move in the hospital and have to restart the level

Instant Staff Training - What does this do? I turn it on but i don't see anything.

If it works the way I think it does, you use that and then send your staff for training the timer is removed and they get the benefit right away. Can say for sure, don't have the game.

Training need to wait until the instructor start teaching and press it, the training will complete immediately

The research one also the same, need to have someone start the research to work; however, it has a little issue on the mission in the university map, if you use it in the early stage, the research point will be come negative, which will never be able to complete the mission objective

For “instant staff training” I have found it works best to send your staff to the training room and wait for the training to start then activate the cheat then deactivate it straight away to stop any issues that might happen.

As for the people having the negative research points issue a way to fix it is to use CoSMOS cheat tool. Just search for the value as a float until only one value is left then change it back to a positive value.

"Change Selected Staff Rank By 1" - destroyed the savegame of a hospital .. I must restart it and sometime it kills the "staff skill overview". The overview doesn't longer show anything.

The same I have with "Instand Staff Training". Sometimes it kills the training overview of the training room. Than I can't train anything. The overview is empty.

I do confirm the same issue with savegame corruption. Maybe it's a rank+1 option or instant staff training. Can't be sure, because the situation happened on university map (and i used numpad5 on other maps). And this map is the first one i've tried instant staff training on.
Had to roll back save file.
I suggest saving your game before trying to use this options.
