That's fine, I have plenty more to do so there's no rush.

First of all the savegame location you mentioned does not exist on my end. Even when creating it and putting your savegame in there it does nothing to the game. Also when you say you get disconnected then its likely you are a client and the server is not on your computer. On my end the game is blocked with firewall so it runs 100% offline.

No issues with the trainer:

How did you block yours off with a firewall, i'm not completely sure how to do that properely.

You need to create a block rule for the game's exe file if that is the game's only process. Or, if you want to be 100% sure, disable the network adapter.

I think I managed to block the game, it's not disconecting any more, but I still can't upgrade anything using option 8 without the required resources.

Did you try it in a new game or an old save?

Did you follow the steps as shown in 0x90's video, ALT+TAB out and manually activate/enable the trainer and the option?

I did start a new game but I used the button to activate option 8 and it didn't work.
