Ah apparently it was avast. I've had my trainer folder whitelisted and that usually sufficed, but I guess when the trainer makes a tmp file in the temp directory it gets blocked. What really threw me off is it didn't even log any alerts, it just stopped it without saying anything.

I would update to windows 10 too but my motherboard is from like 2012 and I'm not sure would even support windows 10.

Just out of curiosity, does this trainer have some kind of built-in hotkey combination that does the same thing as clicking the "troubleshooting" or "get help" buttons?

Every now and then, during gameplay, I'll press something that causes the trainer to open a web page in chrome.

I've haven't been able to figure our what exactly is causing it. I've only ever done it accidentally. But every time its happened, it's been during something like a boss fight when I'm pressing a bunch of different keys really quickly--which is why I was thinking it might be some kind of hotkey.

I'm not sure exactly what web page it's opening, but I know its something on this site. I can only see "cheathappens.c..." in the address bar.

(I'm running the game in full-screen, but in a resolution smaller than my native one. So, when it opens the web page, it opens over top of the game, but it ends up being scaled/squished down into the game's resolution and the UI and text are messed up so I can't see the full URL. I also cant click anything or alt+tab away. The only thing I can do is click the "x" in the corner to get rid of it.)

To be clear, I've been playing this for a couple hours a day for the past week or so, and this has only happened like 3-4 times. So it's really not a frequent occurrence. And, since the game automatically goes to the pause menu when it happens, it's not really a "problem" or anything like that. I'm just asking this out of curiosity, since I can't seem to figure out exactly what is causing it.

I followed your suggestion and reset the trainer. I played for a couple hours yesterday, and again today. Since resetting the trainer, it hasn't happened again. So it looks like that might've fixed whatever was causing it--and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

I'm still a little curious about what might've caused the problem in the first place though.

Just for future reference, is there actually an unlisted hotkey in the trainer that opens the "get help" page? And did mine just get accidentally re-assigned somehow? (That would explain why resetting the trainer fixed it). Or is the "get help" function only able to be launched through a mouse click?

Either way, thank you for responding so quickly and helping me to fix it. Your suggestion seems to have done the trick!

Only hot keys are in the Settings portion of the trainer, it it possible that another trainer changed the global settings.xml for all trainers if it was tinkered with in it's settings but that would be a very rare occurrence. To start totally from scratch and change all trainers to default all you need to do is just delete all files in

C:\Users\usernamehere\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\Trainer Settings

And it will rebuild itself every time a trainer is run and closed.

Can someone who is requesting EPIC version of this trainer, test Trainer 2 and Trainer 1 to see if one of those already works for this platform? It's highly likely that one of the trainers already works.

Hi Caliber,

Have tried with Trainer 1 and Trainer 2. Can confirm that they work on EPIC version of game, however will point out that for some functions (set level), they will reset to lvl 1 after purchasing 1 upgrade during evolution. So if user wants to buy mass upgrades at once it requires constant toggling. Not sure if there is a way to set the function to constantly push the level value?
