Yes, If I leave my AV (Bitdefender) do its thing, it just puts this .sys file in quarantine and the PC doesn't crash.

Bitdefender is the problem, the trainer and work folder

I already tried with completely disabling the AV. That's actually when the crash happens (when the .sys file is not caught).
Other modules of bitdefender are interfering, best to ask them how to allow this, or uninstall it completely.
Just tried with complete uninstall of Bitdefender, still the same error.
To be clear, the problem is not that bitdefender catches the .sys file,
it's quite the opposite, the .sys file is allowed to proceed and causes a crash.
OK, so I spent 3 hours updating windows and whatnot and here is the results:
Verified I am Windows 10 64 bit Operating system
downloaded trainer
read instructions
ran KVA Shadowing Disabler
RESTART the OS
ran steam
ran trainer
ran game
launcher comes up
click settings
verified I am DX11
click PLAY to play the game
At main menu, waited 25 seconds, then clicked OK on trainer prompt
Pressed F1 to activate trainer
loaded a wizard for testing
shot wand and no overheat
no crash here, no BSOD, trainer works as intended
My version of Windows is
Windows 10 Pro
Version 1809
OS Build 17763.195
Installed on 12/30/2018
So I blew hours of my day to check something that is working here.
FYI,
Cal
Same OS version and same everything, but still the trainer isn't working, at this point I don't know what could be the cause.
It always worked for me since this 1.4.1 patch, what a stupid game.
