Set weapon damage also caused the zombies to destroy the teleport machines with 1 hit. i will try sending a video of it.

Yea I only used that option once and managed to alt-f4 the game before it saved (after it destroy a teleporter)
That extreme damage setting seems to set the damage of everything in the game to max (including the bad guys).
I just stick to the purple weapons and switch bullet rounds to the highest damage I can find (thanks to that unlimited ammo) and I basically instantly wreck everything anyway.
Are you following the instructions on how to use it?
Numpad /: Set Mega Weapon Damage - IMPORTANT! This option should
ONLY be used at camp and as directed. The option is only
active for a short time! Toggle the option on then quickly
go to the iDroid menu, then select PERSONAL to see the
weapon you have equipped. You have 3 seconds before the
option turns back off. The weapon will now have massive
attack damage.
I am not sure how it would set anything else to a high value if used as directed. Then again, we cannot share saves to test either..
I have not had zombies using the massive damage at all. Otherwise your health would be crushed instantly if they attacked you. Maybe they are using copies of your weapon for some reason, which would be kind of sneaky of the developers to make the enemies somewhat as strong as you..
best,
Cal
I do this on purpose.. the autoturrets get 16K damage and you can really do most of the "hard" missions solo if you're paying attention and quick on your feet. It's still not easy since the turrets can die in one hit to bombers and (especially) trackers, but it's awesome anyway.
All you have to do for this is hit mega damage outside of camp and don't open your inventory (usually works) or hit mega damage and scroll weapons before it deactivates.
This is a FEATURE and one that is really, really helpful as all the electric fences do 16K damage along with autoturrets, machine gun emplacements, etc. So, sure the zombies can one-shot you if you don't have unlimited health on, but you also one-shot them with everything in your arsenal.
A glitch I noticed with the trainer, when I go and attempt to go on the side mission to rescue/recruit someone, they die the second I get to the side mission.
I have almost every option enabled, and I am trying to narrow it down. Anyone else having this issue? If so, please advise.

This is one of the side effects of having mega damage on EVERYTHING (as stated in my last post).
If you don't turn it on the way the trainer explains, then the DUST does mega damage too. So, bear that in mind when you're trying to do survivor recruitment. They will always be dead before you get to them, including solo story survivors (which will cause you to have to replay that portion of the story)
