There may be console cheat commands like the first game which means a trainer may not be required.

Same cheats work as the original. Don't edit strength too high you can do it but you will be encumbered and move slow permanently. If that doesn't do it for you you can just use the toolset that comes with the game to make your own weapons and armor.

Agreed. I have used every code listed in GameFAQs on the original Neverwinter Nights and not found one I have tried that didn't work. My test character is running around with 40 in all attributes STR DEX etc and I was level 10 before I left the tutorial/pro-log which usually gets you to lvl 2 or 3 depending on how you played it.
Just like the Baulders Gate EE family a Trainer would be nice but is NOT a priority for me. You can already do everything a Trainer could and more with the lua console in game.

It still would be great if we could get trainer

Just wondering what is the benefit of having a trainer over using the console commands? Does it bypass the game detecting illegal changes? (illegal in terms of the character was edited instead of gaining naturally) also I have used Leto 1.69 on the new NWN with no issues and that can change EVERYTHING about your character.
