What happened to step 5 and 6 for the beginner walkthrough?
Not needed in Beginner mode.
Are there any posts on how to download the CoSMOS Beginners files? I ask because I cannot download it successfully and I don't see any posts sharing how to download it.
When I attempt to download it, I see a red message saying it is password protected, but offers me the password of "cheathappens". However, when I try extracting the resulting zipped files, I get multiple errors that say, "An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file." With error code: 0x80004005: Unspecified error. This happens with many of the zipped files.
What archive extractor are you using? You should just have to right click on the .zip and select extract here, extract to, or something similar, it will then ask for password. Once password entered, it will extract to given location.

This is likely your AV, firewall or other security software blocking the extraction of the files. Make sure you disable it before extracting. Try using WinZip to extract. www.winzip.com
