Hi! I've been trying recently to find a way to disable XLiveLess with CosmOS, but I'm hitting a bit of a wall. Could somebody offer some guidance please?

XLiveless is a plugin for GTA to bypass xlive. I dont understand why you want to bypass a bypass plugin with Cosmos?

I'm obviously not as knowledgeable as you are in this area, but as far as I can tell it's blocking me from debugging the application and from running some assembly scripts.

Are you talking about xliveless or (Windows /x)live ?

Windows Live alias xlive contains protection against debugger/memory script and was used by some games. There are a couple of ways to disable it. The easiest way is simple script I've attached for you.

Xliveless is a plugin for GTA which disables xlive and allows plugins/mods to work correctly. No idea why it should prevent cosmos from working.

Thank you for the script; going to try to understand how it works and maybe adapt it! I'm talking about XLiveLess, people are forking off from the GTA IV one to make it work for numerous other games such as Dirt or Tekken VS Street Fighter.

XLive has been discontinued from Microsoft. It is only used for older games.
The bypass I've got from Caliber and only skips the check for modifications. But like I said there are a couple of ways. Other ways are about replacing xlive.dll with a custom dll, or plugins or scripts.

Usually xlive shouldn't be a problem anymore unless you are going to work on older titles.
