Jack, anyway I can get a copy of the saved game fine you edited. At the beginning if you have one. Also have you been able to add crew when doing it?

Well not sure how that would work, since this game is brand new and never got a trainer made for it. It was never retired or anything. I think that is what you are saying. But you can correct me if I am wrong.

It is in the retired list and it also said that on the main game page.
FROM OTHER SUNS TRAINER
We currently don't have any From Other Suns trainers, cheats or editors for PC. We previously evaluated this title and a trainer was not possible or the game is multiplayer/online only so it has been marked as RETIRED. If the state of the game changes where we are able to create a trainer it will be listed on our requests page. Cheat Happens does not support or condone the use of cheats in a multiplayer environment and will never create multiplayer based cheats or trainers.
After evaluation and deemed non-trainable it usually goes right to the retired list, especially when there is a multi-player/online component involved.

Also Ark isn't online. You can play solo offline just fine and it has console commands available.

It would be nice to have a trainer for this game. As folks have pointed out, this does have a single player mode. I've also confirmed that you can launch the game and play it without a network connection. There is an online component to the game, but is entirely co-op based. Thus, I don't see how this game would get excluded from the trainer possible list if NMS, Ark and Borderlands get one.
