Hello.
I have a question (about a specific trainer), the trainer itself works properly, but it makes the game NOT give you a reward anymore.
So, effectively the trainer is breaking the functionality of the game by making you not get your reward, which makes the trainer useless to use.
I didnt want to post it in the section trainer is broken, because the trainer works.
It just breaks the game by using the trainer, basically making you not use the trainer in the 1st place.
If you want, I will tell you the name of the game and what it breaks, in PM, or in the trainer reporter thing, or here if you ask, but I dont want to lose 500 points because of it.

By reward, do you mean some in-game item you get from completing some quest or mission? Or do you mean an achievement / trophy?

Trainers by their very nature make games do things they were never intended to do and anytime you do that there is a risk of "breaking" some kind of scripted event or "reward" because you went outside of the normal parameters by using one or more options in the trainer. We release about 10 trainers per day. We do not have the luxury of playing every game for 40 hours to see if any one or combination of options causes an issue somewhere in the game. This is just the chance you take when you are "cheating" the game. Now if you want to provide a savegame which is shareable (many games these days are not) and instructions on how to break the game using X option(s) then we can look at it but no guarantees that it can be fixed. Now if you are trying to use the trainer to gain things that affect the multiplayer or online portion of the game or those that involve the game's microtransaction system, we will NOT be doing anything to address that.

Latest version ...it has been happening for a LONG time though, like 6 months, I stopped using the trainer because of it for a long time, and decided to give it a try again.

The game: Warhammer End Times Vermintide latest Steam, but like I said this has been breaking for a long time now, maybe 9 months?.

So, if you use the 'Unlimited Health' I use the unlimited health, the unlimited ammo, and the no wizard overheat also, on ANY MAP, on ANY difficulty whatever the Quests are that day, or from before, and I have a 'Quest' to complete for keys, then I finish the map like normal (I use ctl + h before going through the end of the game so the trainer is no longer activated, but it doesnt matter if you do this or not), and then try to collect my key, I will NOT get my key. I have tried both logging off then back on steam then try to collect the key, and also trying to collect the quest key by just having the trainer still running, it doesnt matter.

So, basically, you can play a map, you can have the trainer on and working, and finish the map, bnut it looks like they are tagging the quest as cheating or something and are not allowing you to get a key?

I am playing a private match, so no one can join, I am not signed in to friends list so friends cant join, so its not 'online'. This is how I play the game all the time).

The trainer DID use to work when the quests system first came out, but it doesnt work anymore.

The save file can be located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\fatshark\Warhammer End Times Vermintide\save_data.sav but I do believe some of the saves are stored server side

Winrar/7zip: Open your preferred program and select the file, then click add at the top of winrar or 7zip, then a prompt appears and click ok. Attatch the zip or rar in your next reply.
