Looks like it's a possible problem with version 0.5.2 as I'm running into the same thing. Every other option works fine.

As of about 8:45 pm Pacific time when I tried to play it today, the game seems to have been updated to vs 5.2, and though the trainer worked perfectly yesterday on 5.1, today it crashes the game as soon as I try to "capture units" and give them "super unit health". "Capture Resources" seemed to be working, but as soon as I tried the unit capture and health thing the game crashed, sorry I can't provide any more information. I tried using the actual trainer problem report thing, but it kept saying I had to fill out all the information (I had... checked the boxes, reported the version number, and said I got it from Steam) so I don't know why it kept telling me to put more information in, but since that won't let me, I am reporting it here.

Before you updated the trainer the past trainer was working except 3 options
Past Trainer
-Fast build units not working -fast research not working -fast building not working
New Trainer
-Fast build units not working -fast research not working -fast building not working
except now capture units doesn't work
meaning super unit health and weak units don't work
please fix whats causing it not to work

I can confirm Numpad 7: Capture Units, Numpad 8: Super Unit Health and Numpad 9: Weak Unit are not working anymore.
Every other option of our current trainer works in the latest game version. - The trainer is already in our trainer queue for an update. Please stay tuned.
Good for health, bad for education.

I would like to point out that for me the fast build, research never worked before and they do now so that's wonderful. I can only imagine what a massive PITA this game must be. Know that I for one appreciate very much all the hard work.

People should just stop buying games that are not even finished

I totally agree with you ... but that didn't work out with DLCs. What was once free added to a game became a cash cow for some publishers.
Good for health, bad for education.

Honestly I am ambivalent about it. On the one hand I applaud the opportunity for a player base to participate in the shaping of a game. It is nothing new either. It has changed form for sure. It used to be closed alphas and betas (these still happen now too). I myself was a part of a fair number of them.
It is a part of the development process for a lot of software (not just games). What is new is that companies have become more open around them for a number of reasons. To get some early money to aid in development costs, to strike up popularity and publicity, to allow people to contribute, to test the product and refine and enhance it. These are but a few reasons.
It has allowed smaller developers and indie groups/teams to join the market.
But as with anything it has also created some negatives. Developers that use it just to do some cash grabbing and then after the attention dies down (due to lack of updates, fixes, content etc) push it out as a shell of a game and move on to the next iteration of the same practice. I could name names here but I think we all know some of these.
And it has had an effect on the players too, some never seem to get what early access means. I don't mind bugs or problems in an early access. Provided I know and see the developers are working to fix the issues.
