    I am playing UPlay version 1.51 and downloaded the most recent trainer. I have disabled all firewall and anti-virus software. I've opened the game and then the trainer, and opened the trainer and then the game. In all cases, I get the error that the game cannot be found. Is there a workaround?

    Are you sure you have the right trainer? There's two versions:

    * UPlay PLUS

    * Steam and UPlay

    Man, thank you - I would not have realised there was two versions unless I read this (as the current non-plus version is under "previous versions" out of sight!)

    Weird thing is; I was playing the Demo version using the plus trainer. I decided to buy it, and after purchase it just stopped working! Eventually I found this and downloaded the non-plus version of the trainer and it activated. Woo!

    Again, thanks for bothering to post, and thanks to CH for an excellent service (even if it can get unavoidably complicated).

    Complicated out of necessity. Game devs insist on adding scanners and anti-cheats to our single player games forcing the lads here to make more and more intricate trainers for us to use. Fortunately for us, they're both willing and able to do that.

    I would agree, but it's not exactly their problem.

    The hilarious thing is; a lot of Ubisoft game issues can be solved using "cracked" executables (apparently) - I kind of feel like I pay an honesty tax 😅

    For some reason the trainer won't open completely. After double clicking it tries to open but then crashes before it opens all the way. I'm using Windows 10. Anyone else having this problem? It just started today. Yesterday it worked fine. I tried downloading a fresh copy and it opened up the first time I tried it. But when I started the game the trainer crashed as soon as the game launched. Now it just won't open at all. Thanks for any help.

    yes me too.. something has changed and I suspect it's windows defender although I'm not sure. I'm normally able to disable my Bitdefender antivirus and run the trainers without any problems but since 2 days ago the trainer starts but never shows up on screen. In the taskmanager it says it's running but you can't see it on your screen.

    I tried unistalling my Bitdefender antivirus and it still didn't show and the issue was the same.. I then tried to fiddle around in the microsoft defender settings (built-in antivirus) and after a few tries the trainers worked again.

    Thinking I had solved the issue I went back and reinstalled Bitdefender, only to find that the trainers again didn't show up. At this point I decided to wait it out and see if anyone else reported an issue so thanks for doing so.
