So in appearance, the trainer's options do work, but after a few turns, specifically two for me, if the game had any options activated, it crashes. I don't know whats doing it, but even if I don't turn on the trainer at all, the game that had any cheats activated will still automatically crash the moment I end the turn. The game trainer is also 1.5.0.8774, and the current build is 1.5.1.9466.1570905.
Is anyone else having the problems I am having?
I have the same problem. Just random crashes from time to time.
repeatable every time crashes where multiple people report the same thing are fixable. Otherwise, likely I didn't have the same issue as you and cannot fix something that isn't reproduceable here, nor do I have time to keep 'trying things' for 200 turns until something 'might happen'

Delete trainer and all files in
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and
make sure trainer is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed.
Run the trainer as admin and make sure no mods are enabled. then try again.
I attempted these methods and currently I am crashing after minutes of play in Custom Battles and sometimes during the campaign for larger engagements with either large armies or maxed out armies.

In fact the trainer work great for me but if i use it the game crash after some minutes then i can't load anymore my save game it's perma crash the game if i try to load it.
EDIT : I've deleted all my samegame and the game doesn't crash anymore, that mean using the trainer cause error on save game and cause crashe.
I've only tested with CoSMOS to hack the money that make the same crashe but i can load my game.
