The trainers that I have that aren't Trainer Manager compatible are giving me the error of "Invalid Trainer User" but all the trainers I have that are Trainer Manager compatible does work. Does anyone know why this is happening?

yes. You are using the insider preview of windows 10 that has bugs in it and some of the API are either borked or changed such that our trainers don't work with it.

If you are using the latest Windows 10 release version, this wouldn't be happening.

We've reported it to Microsoft, but we have no idea if this will be fixed or will return to normal when they release the final version of what is only a preview now.

Ah ok, well that really sucks, thanks Cal for the info. Hopefully this can be remedied as recently released games with trainers that aren't trainer manager compatible such as Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition and Gears of War Ultimate Edition isn't working.

Newest preview version 16257.rs3._release.170728-1700 still has the problem

Report it using the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and there is a better chance of us getting it fixed.

This is probably beating a dead horse, but I have a question: What's different between older and newer trainers? PW, when you were checking trainers on my system, they failed to authenticate, yet I just spent the last few hours playing Mass Effect: Andromeda with absolutely no issue with the trainer, it authenticated and worked....is there something slightly different between them other than the layout?

If the windows insider issue is something new or modified that newer [number here]-mea-[username] trainers don't hit a problem with, would it be possible to figure out what it is and retrofit old trainers?

Yes, we know the exact problem and can fix it, but one trainer at a time X 10,000+. It would be better if MS fixes the issue as it is a BUG in the MS code that has been in place since Windows 95. They are returning the incorrect message on a simple API call.

Oh yeah, I understand MS having a screwup with their API, I'm just wondering what exactly is different authentication wise between the older trainers (like the NMS one you tested) and say, Andromeda, other than the UI that seems to let new trainers work, older ones not, just curiosity
