Hi,
I can confirm the No heat gent options do not work and the game has been updated to 1.6.1-542R I have put in the third update request in.
My game has two dlcs installed Flashpoint and Urban War
we do not have those DLC. Also there is two no -heat options, did you try them both?
Probably best to generate heat at least ONCE before turning it on.
best,
Cal

Tried both of them. They do not work. They worked fine with Flashpoint installed but not with Urban warfare dlc added. They say activated but do not work. Everything else I use works fine. Just the no heat gen does not work now. I got 50hrs in the game and this is the only time the no heat gen did not work at all no matter what I do.

Untick the DLC in your options page on Steam, start game, test heat options with each disabled, both disabled, and see if it is indeed the DLC at fault, modifying the value beyond the base game's engine. It's easy to forget Steam easily lets you un-activate DLC in the Installed Page for each game.
That's Installed -> BATTLETECH -> Scroll to DLC, select the DLC in ITEM list, untick.
Try the combos of each.
Who wants to uncheck the DLC wouldn't be playing the game again if it weren't for the new DLC.
If you read what I wrote, it's clear. The unticking is a process of steps to figure out which, if any, of the DLC packs are creating the issue with the heat value within the trainer.
If you have issues with people trying to troubleshoot, yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I'm with you. The more methods of troubleshooting and testing, the less dependant people need to be on forum Q&A and the more they can rely on their own problem solving techniques.
