I have to scan this broken console up on a wall but I can't get close enough to scan it for the bot to repair it because of the lava that is between it and myself. can anyone help? thx in advance. 😭

What's the mission called? Is it Peebee's loyalty mission?
I'll be honest, you're not giving much to go on here for anybody to help you. Some more details, even a screenshot of your location would help loads.

Actually, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess for you. I bet it's the place where you have to scan the FISSURE and not a console.

If it's any other place then there's really no lava between you and the terminals that need repairing.

that's not it, I'm way past that. I don't remember how to do a screen shot. no it is Peebee: a mysterious remnant signal, and it's not a console it's a power node that I have to scan so the allied observer will fix it. to extend the bridge. I pressed the print screen button but it does nothing.

I think you have to access a console and a helper will join you and it will do the task for you
