Assassin´s Creed IV: Black Flag Message Board  

Hey there. Tried to play the game after a while again. But with Trainer active it is bugging as hell. Game will not recognize what I'm doing (for example on the very first Intro Mission where I have to take control of the Ship: When I move to the rudder and press "E" the game doesnÄt recognoze I'm on the rudder and freezes more or less (Game is still running, but I can't do anyhting)

This is without acitvating any of the Options, only activating the Trainer by pressing F1.

Dunno whats wrong. Last time I played the game on Windows 7 and everything was fine. Meanwhile I upgraded to Windows 10. Maybe this is causing problems.

Then try setting the game .exe to run in compatibility mode for Win 7

Having exclusions for the trainer exe file and the Work folder located here -> C:\Users\YourWindowsUserName\Cheathappens\

Launched our latest trainer with admin rights
Launched game from Steam (which then launches Uplay)
Activated trainer with F1 in main menu
Loaded a savegame
Activated different options
Working as intended

No crashes, no bugging - verify the game cache or uninstall the game completely, download and install again.

After launching the game itself and the Trainer both as admin, Trainer seems first to work properly, but then later I faced the same bug again. I had to chase a Thief and take back what he has stolen.

After knocking him out I wasn't able to loot him so game progress was on hold again. BUT: After some testing by activating and deactivating several options and playing the same part again and again it looks like Option 3 "Infinite ally health" is causing this problem.

I will keep playing without this option to see if the bug happens again.

Did you actually had someone to guard or walk with that you used this option for? Or do you just activate every option the trainer has to offer?

So, I am also having the problem mentioned before in which when I spend money, the gold will go back down to 5, no matter how much I have or how much I spend, it always hangs at 5 but only after using the trainer option to increase gold.

Once I have used the option on a saved game (I have started a new game, and cleared the locations mentioned before as well) it will always default back to five even if I don't use the trainer to increase the gold.

It also seems to affect the materials as well, when they are used, that particular resource will completely disappear even if the upgrade wouldn't use that much.

All other options for the trainer work as intended.

Edit: I figured out the reason. The error only occurs when you are using the "Unlimited Item Usage" option as well. With that option disabled, the gold and materials go back to spending normally.

Error at #resources: Cannot find AOB

It did just update ...
