Having a MAJOR issue with my level resetting to 3, everytime i close the game, and reload a save (manual or auto both)

I have no clue how it's happened. i've tried turning on the easy level up option, and say getting to level 30, and saving the game, turning off the option and reloading it.. and it still doesn't retain my level, resetting it to level 3.

It's been awhile but if memory serves .... try turning ON Easy Level Up AND Numpad 8 Mega Skill Points at the menu, then load a MANUAL save. See if that works.

You may have to make another manual save to test it, then leave and do the above when you restart the game again. I seem to recall when I was using Easy Level and Mega Skill points that's how I had to load the game. Also, don't use Continue.

Thanks! that didn't work, but I ended up figuring it out. The Mega skill point option is fundamentally broken, because it's tied to level. it causes some sort of weird bug when you first use it. (I think I used mine at level 3, hence the level I was stuck at.) No matter what I did, which order i loaded the game/trainer in, or what options i turned on, the result remained the same.. it would revert me to level 3. However when I disabled the mega skill option, my level saved correctly. So my solution has to been to install a mod that gives more skill points per level (you can choose how many more) and just use the easy level up option to push my character up to 35-40.

However, if I use the infinite skill option now, it may save my level at it's current position and work.. I havn't tested that far yet.

Ok well the trainer works at point but after a while playing the game with the trainer it damages the save files of the game where I can not fight anymore or do anything at all then I have to start the game all over again. Also it show my weapons are missing and so forth this trainer corrupts the game to point it not playable. I only have started the game and got past the nexus and gone to my first planet and landed as the commander of the path finders

If you have unlocked certain character gear with the Skill Point option (ie weapon holster) and your skill points reset the next time you load your save this could happen.

The Skill Point option has to be enabled prior to the loading of a modified save game.

That is correct about having the skill point option enabled for the modified saves. I figured this out after a while. The easiest way to get around this that I found is to use the easy level up option. Once on Eos at site one when you get the nomad and are able to leave the area, go up the first hill along the road by the big ramp. There are a lot of bug things that spawn regularly there. Space your squad mates out in the area and start killing the bugs until you level all the way up to lvl 132. Once you reach that level you can max out all your skills to your liking, enable all the profiles, and activate all the avp slots(upon loading this leveled up save). Make regular saves along the way. After this you won't need to activate any more of those options during the rest of your gameplay. It worked great for me anyhow.

I do have a question and wanted to see if anyone has had this happen in their game. Upon loading some of my early saves I noticed that a bunch of my augmentations in my inventory have multiplied to a count of one million. Some did and some didn't. Does anyone out there know how to make this work with all of them? I need more heat inducers and shield disrupters for my massive armory...lol
