This feels like someone's pet project, and every bug they find, they fix, and push it out. I mean, it's indie, it's cheap, and it gets a lot of patching love. For a 3 year old indie title, that's amazing.

Any way to get this out of retirement with a "once per major content update" or "once a month" or something update policy? I'm happy to use RC points to essentially "buy" it being supported again.

Unfortunately, once titles get retired, they are for good. You could probably ask for some scripts for CoSMOS, maybe some of the other members have made some. Or if there is a cheat table out there CoSMOS can read/use most of them as well.

In that case, can we see the table that was used to make the last version of the trainer that worked? I've tried to do it myself with CoSMOS and CoSMOS, but while I can isolate resource values, edits made to them don't seem to stick, and I'd like to see how it was accomplished in the trainer.

You could ask Cal, but it would kinda be like asking a chef whats in the secret recipe. 😉

I don't follow your logic. Why would an early access game have less updates, isn't the point to make changes based on player feedback?

It's concerning that often cheats are retired around here because games are updated "too often." Just release cheats less frequently, as others have stated.
