It def went to 64 bit...
yeah so I ran the game and tested our trainer after updating some small things.
it's definitely 32 bit here
no idea what version or platform or if you are doing some sort of beta, but the game patched and is still running 32 bit here
If it goes 64 bit, I would have to start over again for like the 15th time and basically that's when this title goes to retirement.

My game is 64 bit, I just bought it today, and trainer doesn't work and no way to play the 32bit version
bummer. return it then buy it on steam, which is the version we've had since this game came out forever ago. The install on steam has one .exe, the 32 bit version.
The fact there is a 64 bit version in existence is worrisome for the future.

I knew it was a mistake to let a trainer launch games...
The current game version is 1.9.1.15281 whereas the latest trainer was written for v1.9.0.15262.
And true, if you launch the game through the trainer, it launches the new 64-bit version. But, just launch the game through the Steam client by pressing the Play button and then select Play Northgard DirectX 32bits which launches the hl32.exe file instead.
Report an update is needed and try then.

Thanks for this info.
hi guys.
don't manually select 64 bit version
select 32 bit
trainer will never be made for 64 bit. if this is an issue, we will just retire the game. I've spent many many many hours on this title, starting over on it, retiring it, bringing it back with people understanding our frustration with it. There is a LONG PAINFUL history with this game, and this just adds more pain to it. The solution here is simple, just use the 32 bit version and enjoy the trainer if you want to cheat. If you want +3 framerate in 64 bit, then don't use the trainer.
trust me, you WONT NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE in a game like this. It's cartoon characters moving on a screen with zero 3d elements and it's not a complicated game with memory concerns. there is zero reason for 64 bit version after all this time. we won't be supporting it
thanks
