Game just updated a few minutes ago, going to check to see if its still having an issue now.

Trainer still works, What I have noticed about the recipe points option, Num4, is that if you use it after you log in functions correctly, if however you use it after being logged in for a certain amount of time it starts to go into the negative. I will look to see if I can locate my save and post it here.

So, if we got the savegame, we wouldn't be able to reproduce the issue immediately? It would work and then stop after a while?

Save file included in this post, Recipe points are at -2048. I'm going to reload and see if I can raise them as I did before by using the trainer as soon as I log in game, no idea why its lowering the points after a certain amount of time.

the game is keeping track of how many points you have spent by what you have unlocked

For now, the solution is to use the custom trainer ability to modify the amount the trainer gives you, and then add more points when needed.
