i have a few time had to start over that is why i put in a request to add or remove items . let see if it goes up for a vote

When I was searching for an answer before posting here, I did come across another trainer for a DLC that mentioned changing the value bsck for the specific item and that would correct it. Unfortunately I was unable to locate a list for the 2 quest items that I needed to change the value on. Hopefully in the near future this will be an option or a list will be created. Thanks again for your help!

wonder if it would be possible to set items at 98 instead of 99 then you would still be able to pick up 1 more

it does, just click on item multiplier where it says 99, and type in new value.

also, I would suggest if you haven't done so already that when you use the item multiplier turn off the option so the items count goes down as you use item and only enable is as and when you need to. Hopefully, that should avoid potential problems.

I've considered the same thing. The issue I keep encountering is that the game still determines that you have already picked up the quest item. Some of the items will appear again in game. The 2nd quest was one of the later dog tag items and once you pick it up, it's gone. Best thing to do (I hope) is to just disable the infinite item option before touching any quest items. I have gotten the random luck and had the game update as if I already picked up the original quest item, even though I didn't. However, my luck did finally wear out and it doesn't seem to be reversible yet. I will continue to test and will let you know if I can find a viable workaround.

I ran a test earlier for both quests. The dog tag quest that I had not saved, I just loaded the game without the trainer and it allowed me to pick it up. I then went to the farm on the vegging out quest and the item was there, but when I picked it up, the quest never updated. I am sure this is because I had already saved after picking up the item with the trainer on. It didn't prevent me from picking up the item (so setting the value at 98 wouldn't fix this), but because I had picked it up prior to this, it would not update. I think modifying the memory value (or hopefully a debug console option to complete the quest) will arise in the near future. Until then, I have put too many hours of time into the game, so I will just ignore it and go back and start again some other time when I am done beating it. I still recommend saving and disabling the infinite items option before picking up a quest item to prevent this issue.
