At the time the trainer was written the player values ran through an isolated game function which I was able to hook into. After an update this has stopped and, typically for games which are made by GameMaker engine, all values are running through the same single function. This makes it nearly impossible to hook into the game code. What's left is using pointers but these typically break on a game update.

Now on Steam I see this old game has patched on Feb 25, Feb 26, March 23, March 25, March 31. Every time the trainer would have become broken. I would have to start from scratch finding new pointers. This is okay if I wouldn't have anything else to do. You may find such a person somewhere else for sure. The world is big enough and we're not the only trainer makers in this world. But as long as this game has not stopped receiving updates and is marked as finished by the devs I won't consider unretiring a game which otherwise lands on my table every few days where the time comes soon again that I will simply retire it again.

This game received update 1.52.0 ("The Final Update" on 3/2/23 and has had no further updates since. In the explanation of the update, the developer says there may be fixes and minor tweaks down the road, but the major content and DLC updates are finished and they consider the game done. Is there a possibility of having this game "un-retired"?

STATUS: Retired - Thank you for inquiring regarding this title. Unfortunately, this game has been retired. Games are retired for many reasons. Once a game is retired, it will not be updated again while it remains Retired. We only un-retire games in very special circumstances up to the discretion of the Trainer Maker. Do not ask for un-retirement.

So how is the Trainer Maker going to use their discretion to decide if they want to un-retire a trainer if it is not asked for by the community? I'm confused. He literally said above that he would reconsider un-retiring the trainer when it was no longer receiving updates and marked finished by the developers. I was merely bringing this up because the criteria he mentioned seemed to have been met. Your answer, especially the last sentence, was rather curt and blunt. I'm not sure my question warranted such a response.
