I had to buy a snagit license for that video. GRRRR! but I like snagit anyway. 😁

At some point you have had to have downloaded trainer #1, it is still on your system and the trainer manager is pointing to it, If you run that #2 downloaded file directly without the Manager it should be Steam. Your going to have to go into the trainer manager settings and make sure the folders for your trainers is correct and or find the Gamepass one and delete it.

Unfortunately, when I execute the trainer that I just downloaded for steam directly, it still shows "GAMEPASS" and doesn't work. Are you all sure you didn't overlay the steam with the gamepass version? I am a software engineer, and well, it does happen.

run the file right from the folder, wipe out all other occurrences of downloaded trainers.

I've done it 4 times now and I get the Steam version EVERY time. I cannot, NOT make it work.

Got Steam from using TM, got Steam from a different browser, got Steam from my default browser, I called my brother had him DL it and email it to me and got Steam

Moving on! Sick of dealing with this so I will make due without. I did get the godmode to finally work, not that I was going for that. I ended up clearing the windows temp, then deleted all occurrences of CheatHappens client and folders. Deleted all trainers. Downloaded the trainer for Skyrim SE steam again, executed it as admin directly, and still says "GAMEPASS" but this time godmod worked. Except for the datetimestamp, they really appear to be the same files, both the exact same size, which doesn't mean anything (but I would expect them to be different sizes), but both of the GAMEPASS and STEAM downloads show GAMEPASS in the trainer dialog and neither work. The zip file names are different.

It's a waste of time for me to continue with this for now. Thanks for your advice, but it still doesn't work.

Well your 2 choices are a support ticket so we can see your system with a TeamViewer session or format your system and re-install windows to be sure everything is wiped out and start from scratch. I would do the latter, if I experienced what you are.
