I've been to dozens of other players bases and can't "Check-In" to unlock the achievement... Is it the trainer? Anyone had this issue when not using cheats?

Did you try it without when you came to mine? 🤔 😉

the whole entire game is HOST! ....all mechanics on this game is KAPUT! when using trainer, all achievements are gone, it totally changes the game. Dont get me wrong folks...the trainer is working as stated...but so much time wasted when all u do is fly and fly....and fly....with no achievements...and that is on Single player. Peace!! y'all

I'm still very early on in the game. I've only been to 2 planets and I'm on my first Space Station now trying to wade through the myriad of available upgrades.

At this early stage I already have 22% of the Cheevos which seems about right considering how early it is.

A lot of them are going to take some time, they're not just single event types. They're more of the farming and collecting type though I got 3 of them for the Units Accrued cheevos specifically from using the trainer.

I spent a lot of time early on farming and collecting while learning the game. I've mentioned a couple times before, be sure to switch off Numpad* Max Resources right after using it. Leaving it on was causing me some problems.

I respect your opinion, but you should accept the fact that farming in this game takes a ridiculous amount of time and it is mandatory to do if you want to beat the main quests. and not all players can cope with that when they only get to play 1-2 hours a day. I work 10-11 hours a day 6 days a week, add workout, nap, food time, bathroom etc etc...
If it wasn't for this trainer I would've stopped playing this game early on. Because it helps skip all the time consuming extra activities the game require me to do in order to progress.
You said something about wasting time, well for me that means spending hours and hours farming materials from different kind of planets to upgrade my inventory/exosuit/multitool in order to farm even more materials from more planets just to take a step forward in the main story.

Jackboy... I still get achievements even with this trainer.. got Everlasting - in extreme survival last night... thanks to CH...


So the Base thing, I looked it up... it is more difficult on the pc version, you have to join people, drop a save pod, get to their base, Switch to no-network play.. then save game. THEN, you might be able to load the game up next to your friends base and finally check-in..

That is just a theory, haven't tried it yet..

EDIT: Grrr. When I fired up the game today, the day after they did that update, I couldn't find any of the things I did on the Freighter and nothing from the last mission I did. Had to do it all over again. /Sigh
